John Aboud

John Aboud has served as the Financial Director of Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) since its establishment in 1983. ASSL, headquartered in Trinidad, is a diversified security company operating across five Caribbean islands, with an annual turnover nearing $500 million. Mr. Aboud plays a vital role in the company’s strategic leadership, management, and operations, focusing on financial oversight, sustainability, resilience, social responsibility, and due diligence.

As a prominent figure in Trinidad and Tobago's private security industry, Mr. Aboud has consistently demonstrated leadership and influence across multiple levels. He actively contributes to both government and private organizations where critical policy and decision-making impact the public and private sectors. His current roles include Chairman of Crime Stoppers Trinidad & Tobago (over five years); Chairman of Caribbean Bermuda & Latin America Crime Stoppers Inc. (since 2013); Chairman of the Crime & Justice Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce; Member of the National Drug Council (for 12 years); Member of the Association of Security Companies of Trinidad & Tobago; and Member of the Private Security Network Commission.

Beyond the security sector, Mr. Aboud’s career, which began in 1978, spans several entrepreneurial ventures. He has been actively involved in industries such as garment and shoe manufacturing, printing, public warehousing, retail and distribution, freezone operations, and project construction. His roles in these ventures have included ownership, partnerships, investment, management, and consultancy. Currently, he serves as Chairman of Endeavour Holdings Ltd., focusing on real estate development.
